DESCRIPTION:Award Winning Watercolor by Joseph Bohler\n\n\nJoseph Bohler ha
 s been painting for more than 40 years\, specializing in watercolor techni
 ques. He has studied under notable artists such as Robert Lougheed and Ric
 hard Schmid. Bohler is a life member of the Transparent Watercolor Society
  of America\, a founding member of the Northwest Rendezvous\, and a signat
 ure member of the American Watercolor Society\, the Watercolor USA Honor S
 ociety\, and the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Society.\n\nHis work i
 s featured in several books\, including The Artistic Touch and The Artisti
 c Touch II by Chris Unwins\, as well as Splash II and Splash IV by Rachel 
 Rubin Wolf. Additionally\, he is included in The Best of Flower Painting\,
  The Best of Portrait Painting\, and Western Traditions: Contemporary Arti
 sts of the American West by Michael Duty.\n\nBohler has received art commi
 ssions from notable individuals\, including the late John Ritter and his b
 rother\, Tom\, who commissioned him to paint a portrait of Tex Ritter\, th
 e famed actor\, country singer\, and songwriter. This portrait included Ri
 tter’s horse\, White Flash\, and was unveiled in March 1994 at the Natio
 nal Cowboy &amp\; Western Heritage Museum during the Western Heritage Awar
 ds. He won the inaugural Donald Teague Memorial Award for works of art on 
 paper at the 2013 Prix de West and again in 2023 and 2025.  As well as th
 e Express Ranches Great American Cowboy Award for the best cowboy subject 
 matter at the 2015 Prix de West. In 2018\, Bohler earned the prestigious N
 orthwest Rendezvous President’s Award for his piece\, Sandhill Cranes Ri
 sing\, further establishing his reputation in the realm of original artwor
 k and limited edition prints within the western art community\n\n\nJoin yo
 ur fellow artists at the PLAG Member Art Programs located at the Tri-Lakes
  Chamber House\, located in Monument (directly across from Walgreens and s
 outh of the Jarrito Loco restaurant). These educational programs are most 
 often art demonstrations and "hands on" opportunities led by artists from 
 the Colorado Front Range artist community.  9:30 AM and Noon. Further inf
