SUMMARY:Summer 2026 Art Exhibit at the Garden of the Gods
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our second annual Summer Exhibit at the high
 ly toured Garden of the Gods Visitor Center throughout the month of August
 .  Member artists will be providing original artworks using varied and mu
 ltiple mediums\, sized to be approximately 11"x14" or smaller\, and geared
  to reflect scenic interests in the Pikes Peak region.\nCALL TO ARTISTS:\n
 Due to limited space at the GOGVC\, the first 45 pieces will be accepted 
 for entry\, others may be held on a wait list\n\nNote to artists and show 
 requirements:  All work must be original and for sale.  We have learne
 d that because this facility is mostly used by tourists\, smaller pieces o
 f approximately 250 sq inches or less\, including frames\, will typically 
 sell better with a price range between $100-$300.  This is similar to our
  Small Works show but does NOT preclude works up to 325" with frame.\nSale
  prices may not exceed $500.\n\nOther criteria:\n\n 	Cost of entries for M
 EMBERS of PLAG: $20.00 For the 1st piece\, $10.00 for the second through t
 hird pieces each.\n 	Cost of entries for NON-members of PLAG: $25.00 for 
 the 1st piece\, $15.00 for the second through third pieces each.\n 	No Bi
 n Art will be accepted into this Exhibit\n 	Framing:  All art must be fra
 med or Gallery wrapped with a minimum 1″ depth.  Only wired framing\, 
 with limited wire slack\, will be acceptable.  No saw tooth fittings.\n 	
 Purchases are made directly with the buyer through the Garden of the Gods
 .\n 	Art sold at this show will include a 10% commission to PLAG as a fee
  for handling artist and tax payments.  Sales Tax amounts are separate fr
 om commission fees.\n 	Required sales tax amounts will be added to the Art
 ist price for each piece during the registration process.\n 	Artists are r
 equired to sign Release of Liability forms from PLAG and the Garden of the
  Gods Foundation for work to be displayed.\n 	Updates with the Installatio
 n\, Reception and Pickup Dates will be provided in PLAG's "Inspire" Newsle
 tter and on our website prior to registration opening on June 24th.\n
