Learning how to create acrylic pours that can also be integrated with traditional painting techniques with PLAG member Linda Bridges, is a real treat for our membership!  Not only is Linda a terrific artist whose work is displayed in several galleries, she is also a writer and children’s book illustrator. She first learned to paint using oils but she put all that behind her when she and her husband moved to SE Asia in 2004–2010.  After retiring, at aged 63, Linda picked up her watercolors again in 2014 and began combining her art and writing, illustrating two children’s books. In 2017 she began painting more seriously in soft pastels, oils, and acrylics—learning some nuances of each medium.

Join your fellow artists at the PLAG Member Art Programs located at the Tri-Lakes Chamber House, located in Monument (directly across from Walgreens and south of the Jarrito Loco restaurant). These educational programs are most often art demonstrations and “hands on” opportunities led by artists from the Colorado Front Range artist community.  9:30 AM and Noon.
