“Taking some of the worry out of painting!” series.

Painting is challenging, as such, we want to you worry more about what to paint instead of how to paint it. The emphasis for this course is to become comfortable with the process steps of developing a painting from the start so you are free to be creative during paint application and more confident with color and color mixing.  From discussions on mediums and solvents, to better design and composition, this course is meant to support all levels of experience.  While the emphasis will be on oil painting, anyone wanting to use gouache is possible, as many of the issues with oil as a medium also apply to gouache.

Class Fee $200 for PLAG members and $240 for non-members.  6 sessions on Tuesday afternoons 1 – 4PM, starting Sept 24, 2024.  Further details and materials list are at the website Events page.
