Fine artist and PLAG’s Plein Air Painting Juror, Michael Magrin, held an oil painting demonstration during the Chautauqua Event that was very well received with over 40 people in attendance.  Michael emphasized the creation of a color palette that brings both emotion and dynamic movement together while blending tranquility through bold shapes, composition and values in the painting’s narrative expression.  Michael’s work can be seen in the “Coor’s Western Art Show” Young Guns Exhibit and as represented by the Broadmoor Galleries.
