With 32 Artist participants, 12 Original Paintings, 11 Reproductions, 7 Puzzles, 25 cards… and one book sold, we were pretty pleased with how our first Art Sale during the Chautauqua went! And with $915 in Silent Auction Funds being made to benefit the PLAG D-38 Art Scholarship Program, there is so much appreciation for all that the volunteers and participants did to make this event a success. Truly, it was a member-wide celebration of the creativity and talent PLAG members submitted to the sale. We also had the opportunity to get feedback and “lessons learned” from members at our August meeting as a follow-up, which focused mainly on the potential for a future multi-day sale to balance the effort with the time available to be open to the public and generating sales.
